Serving individuals and families throughout Allamakee County with dignity, care, and community support.
Food Pick-Up Information
Regular Food Pick-Up: Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM except for Holiday and weather changes.
Evening Food Pick-Up: September through December 2026, on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, 3:00 – 6:00 PM, except on holiday and weather changes.

Food pick-up schedules may change due to holidays, severe weather, or other circumstances. Please check our website or Facebook page for current updates before visiting.
Location: The Allamakee County Food Shelf, Waukon, Iowa
Pick-Up Method: Drive-up service
Households may receive food once per calendar month.

The Allamakee County Food Shelf is charitable with the purpose of assisting families facing food insecurity by providing temporary food items as needed to help alleviate hunger and poverty.
The Allamakee County Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Allamakee County residents.
