About The Allamakee County Food Shelf
The Allamakee County Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Allamakee County residents. Through the support of volunteers, donors, community partners, and neighbors, the Food Shelf works to help individuals and families facing food insecurity.
Our Mission
The Allamakee County Food Shelf is charitable with the purpose of assisting families facing food insecurity by providing temporary food items as needed to help alleviate hunger and poverty.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Our volunteers are at the heart of the Food Shelf. From stocking shelves and preparing food for distribution to helping with community food drives and day-to-day operations, their time and dedication help make it possible to serve our neighbors throughout Allamakee County.
